This tutorial is adapted from “Protection of Human Subjects in Research” by Shelley Bizila, Director of Research Compliance, Research and Sponsored Programs, Indiana University/Purdue University-Indianapolis (2000). This version was prepared by Kenneth D. Pimple, Ph.D., in consultation with the Human Subjects Protection Education Committee of Indiana University.
