IU Human Subjects Offices offers Education
Sessions on New and Revised Policies

The IU Human Subjects Offices (HSO) are hosting informational sessions to discuss the changes made as a result of the re-accreditation effort from the Association for the Accreditation of Human Research Protection Programs, Inc. (AAHRPP). These information sessions are open to anyone in the research community who is involved or interested in the conduct of human subjects research at IU. HSO staff will offer guidance on the new procedures and be available to answer any questions. Topics will include information about revised waiver of assent procedures for children, short form options for consenting subjects, conflict of interest regulations, research with special populations, and other revised and new Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) developed as a result of the re-accreditation.

The presentations and discussions will take place on both the Indianapolis and Bloomington campuses. The dates and times for the Bloomington campus presentations are below:
