February 20, 2009 - The Office of Research Administration is proud to announce the release of the new Human Subjects website for Bloomington. The URL is http://researchadmin.iu.edu/HumanSubjects/IUB/hs_home.html.
The overall goal of the new site is to provide a much easier way for researchers to obtain information and forms related to the Human Subjects/IRB process. The main navigation within the new site guides the user through basic steps within the Human Subjects/IRB process. Researchers should be able to access Forms, Policies, FAQs, Announcements and Educational information quickly. The contact information for the office staff is also easily found:
For help with the IRB review process:
If you access the old website pages, you will encounter a message and be redirected to the new website. If you do have the old website pages bookmarked, it would be beneficial for you to add new bookmarks. As with any website, changes will occur on a periodic basis. In the near future, there will be an interface for researchers to view the status of their specific protocols. The status will be pulled from a new system that the Human Subjects office implemented to track protocol information – Coeus IRB. Researchers will eventually be able to submit protocols via this same system.
You should feel free to provide comments/suggestions/concerns about the new website at http://researchadmin.iu.edu/feedback.html.
