Other Regional Campuses

In the areas of human subjects and animal research, each of the regional campuses (excluding Fort Wayne) has its own IRB and IACUC that review and monitor research involving humans and animals. In the area of biosafety, the Bloomington Biosafety Office and institutional biosafety committee serves all the regional campuses (excluding Fort Wayne). Research Integrity and Ethics issues should be addressed to the Research Integrity office in Bloomington (812) 856-1229.

The IU South Bend campus has a designated research officer, Erika Zynda (574) 520-4181 or at . At IU Southeast, research affairs is located in the office of the Assoc. Vice Chancellor, Deborah Finkel (812-941-2210); similarly, at IU Kokomo, and IU East, the office of the Vice Chancellor of Academic Affairs handles issues of research risk (765) 455-9227 and (765) 973-8230, respectively.
