ITEM:
Notice seeking proposals to 1) increase the viability and deployment of renewable energy technologies, thereby 2) spurring the creation of a domestic bio-industry, resulting in 3) a dramatic reduction in dependence on imported oil. Applications are due by September 14, 2009. Approximately $85 million in Recovery Act funds are expected to be available to fund two to three awards. Colleges and universities are eligible to apply and lead in the consortium.
