U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)
EPA has received a total of $7.22 billion for projects and programs to promote green jobs and a healthier environment. The Brownfields Grant Program received $100 million to clean up former industrial and commercial sites and $600 million for the cleanup of hazardous sites. An additional $300 million will be available for grants and loans to help organizations with projects that reduce diesel emissions.
